Carol Ann Owens, 58, of Clinton, Iowa passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Funeral services will take place at 11 am on Monday, August 26, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr.). A visitation will occur 1-hour prior from 10 am until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial takes place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Carol was born March 8, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa the daughter of Arthur “Chub” and Alvena (Frazier) Owens. She was a graduate of DeWitt Central High School.

For 31 years Carol was part of the Skyline Center family. While there, she worked full-time at the SCI workshop, retiring in 2019. Carol enjoyed participating in Special Olympics, traveling throughout the State to participate in many activities. She also enjoyed attending Truth Singers, Persons for Exceptional People activities and participating in Abel Trek Tours. She loved spending time with her many friends. Above all, she loved her Skyline Center family very much and will be sadly missed.

Carol is survived by one brother - Roger (Wanda) Owens of Marion, OH; many friends and special friends Kim Lackas of Waynesboro, GA and Jean Till of Delmar, IA.

Preceding Carol in death were her parents, brother Jerry Owens and fiancé Lynn Till.
