Carl Edward Spreen, 49, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at Mercy Medical Center – North on Friday, March 22, 2019. Funeral services will take place at 12 pm on Wednesday, March 27, at the First Baptist Church. A visitation will occur 2 hours prior, from 10 am until the service hour at the Church. Burial takes place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Carl was born September 2, 1969 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Raymond “Ray” and Marie (Reed) Spreen. Carl was a long-time member of the First Baptist Church. Earlier in life he was a member of the Boy Scouts. He worked for many years at the Skyline Center.

Carl was an avid Chicago Bears and Iowa Hawkeyes fan. He enjoyed bowling with family and friends. He loved electric train sets and enjoyed collecting hot wheels cars. He had an artistic talent of constructing garages out of cardboard for his car collection. He loved his church family very much and will be sadly missed.

Carl is survived by his aunt - Dorothy Ingram of Spokane, WA, his church family and many friends he met throughout his life.

Preceding Carl in death were his parents and his brother Ricky.
