Obituary

Cara Lee Dunham, 43, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on November 24, 2020. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded with no services. Private burial occurs at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Cara was born September 18, 1977 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Gary Lohse and Brenda Sanders.

Cara was a Certified Nurses Assistant working for patients requiring home health care.

Cara enjoyed reading and watching TV – her favorite show NCIS. Her family meant everything to her always putting her family first - she dearly loved her grandchildren. She will be incredibly missed by her family and all those who knew her.

Cara is survived by two daughters – Taylor McCluskey and Chelsie McCluskey both of Clinton; her parents – Timothy and Brenda Sanders of Maquoketa; one grandson – Draedyn; two granddaughters – Camiyah and Paisley; three sisters – Nicole Sanders and Kayla Sanders both of Clinton and Ashley Sanders of Marion; two brothers – Jason Lohse and Brian Lohse both of Clinton and many friends.

Preceding Cara in death was her grandfather – William McCluskey.
