Obituary for Buddy Lee Brown
Buddy Lee Brown, 30, of Clinton, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023. Cremation rites will be accorded with a celebration of his life taking place at 2 pm on Saturday, May 20, at 2917 Garfield St. Clinton, Iowa, behind the house in the large back field. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangement.
Buddy was born October, 19, 1992 in Freeport, Illinois, the son of Bruce and Rebecca (Boutwell) Brown, Sr. He graduated from Juda High School in Juda, Wisconsin.
Buddy was employed at REM - working with mentally challenged adults.
He loved the outdoors, especially, camping, fishing, hiking and canoeing. Buddy’s biggest joy was working at the Shock House in Rock Island, Illinois during the Halloween season. He was an avid RC builder and racer. Buddy was very creative and had a huge imagination. He loved to tinker with things to understand how they worked. He also loved older cars and trucks and always talked about being born in the wrong era.
He loved his pet rabbit – Thumper and his dog – Cheyenne. Above all, he loved his family, especially his daughter very much and will be incredibly missed.
Buddy is survived by his daughter - Fiona Brown of Coal Valley, IL; the love of his life – Victoria Kelly of Clinton; parents - Bruce and Rebecca Brown, Sr., of Clinton; three brothers - Bruce (Amber) Brown, Jr., of Steinhatchee, FL; Jesse (Brittany) Brown of Clinton, and Dalton Brown of Clinton; two sisters - Amber Brown of Florida and Krystal Brown of Clinton; paternal and maternal grandparents; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather - Walter, and great-grandmothers – Opal Beatty and Elaine Anderson.
