Beverly “Bev” Sachsenmaier 84, of Camanche, Iowa passed away peacefully at her Park Vista home on Saturday, April 20, 2019. A Funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 25, at the Church of the Visitation, Camanche. A visitation will take place from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24, at the Church. Cremation rites will be accorded following the Funeral Mass with private burial at Clinton Lawn Cemetery at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Beverly was born April 19, 1935 in Fargo, North Dakota, the daughter of Roy and Helen (Pluth) Senger.

Beverly was united in marriage to Timothy “Tim” Sachsenmaier on September 25, 1954 in Glenwood, Wisconsin.

Beverly was a homemaker and also worked at Mercy Medical Center – North Campus for 17 years in the Housekeeping Department.

Beverly and her young family were one of the first parishioners of the Church of the Visitation in Camanche. Within the Church, she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and worked many Bingo sessions. Beverly’s values were simple – God, faith, church and family. She loved her family very much and will be greatly missed.

Beverly is survived by her two sons - Timothy (Jackie) Sachsenmaier of Camanche, IA, Roger (Tami) Sachsenmaier of Clinton, IA; three daughters - Kathy Lund of Portland, OR, Theresa (Jeff) Hackney of Camanche, IA and Michele (Vic) Gorsh of Long Grove, IA; with seventeen grandchildren and twenty-one great-grandchildren; two sisters – Patsy Brennan of Great Falls, MT and Mary Jane (Terry) Lins of Great Falls, MT; with many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and church family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Tim, one daughter - Susan Ann, one grandson – Jeramy and one brother Ron.
