Beverly J. Edwards
Beverly J. Edwards, 79, died peacefully at Eagle Point Nursing Home on Tuesday evening, March 8, 2011.
Funeral services will be Saturday, March 12, 2011, at 1:00p.m. at Lemke Funeral Homes - North Chapel. Visitation will be 11:00a.m. until the time of service also at Lemke Funeral Homes - North Chapel.
Beverly was born in Courtland, New York, on October 12, 1931. She was the daughter of William and Keitha Petit. Beverly and her family moved to Clinton, Iowa, when she was in grammar school. She graduated from Clinton High School in 1949. She married Harvey Suehl in 1951 and together they had three children. They later divorced and she married Clarence Edwards on March 17, 1991. He died on April 15, 1995.
Beverly was well known as "The Tupperware Lady". She achieved many sales awards and was a District Manager for Tupperware in the late 60's and 70's. Beverly also worked for over 23 years at Medical Associates as a receptionist and appointment scheduler.
Beverly loved life and she enjoyed traveling to all parts of the USA and Canada. Her Mother's family lived in Canada and she visited them often.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Suehl and her finance, Tarek Farmer, Rockford, IL; two sons, Glen Suehl and his friend, Mary Bray, Clinton; Fred and Wendy Suehl, Summerville, SC; two grandchildren, Charity Hansen and Nate Suehl; five great-grandchildren, and several members of the Edwards family who have always been so kind and generous to Beverly.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and both of her husband's.
