Betty Hurla, 73, of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Mercy Living Center South.
Funeral services will be 10:00a.m. Friday June 24, 2011 at Lemke Funeral Homes, South Chapel, 2610 Manufacturing Drive. Pastor Dennis Glew will be officiating. Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011 also at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Clinton Lawn Cemetery.
Betty was born December 16, 1937 in Thompson, IL., the daughter of Alvin D. and Florence E. ( Roggendorf ) Kohl.
Betty had various occupations. Her most important job in life was being a mother and grandmother.
Betty enjoyed camping, bingo, playing cards, and she loved her pets.
Survivors include 3 daughters, Tina Hotovec, Bridget Runneberg, Florence Hurla, 3 sons, Keith (Debi) Lutton, Clayton (Maria) Lutton, David (Michelle) Hurla, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Pauline Banker, Eleanor (Ed) Smith, 3 brothers, Maynard (Shirley) Kohl, Donald Kohl, Alvin Kohl Jr., and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 children, Theresa, Kathy, Robert, Dennis, 1 grandson, David, 2 sisters, Patsy and Doris, and 2 brothers, Johnny and Bobby.
