Obituary for Barbara Francine Broughton

Barbara Francine Broughton went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, peacefully passing away at home on Sunday, September 22, 2019. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. on Monday, September 30, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Dr.) A visitation will occur from 2 pm to 6 pm on Sunday, September 29, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. Burial takes place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.

Francine was born June 29, 1959 in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Rosetta Tyson.

She was a member of the special ministry family – Promise, Purpose and Destiny.

Francine enjoyed spending time with Family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking for everybody and her specialty dishes were macaroni and cheese and fried chicken. She had a heart of gold and a passion for helping people in need. Her main focus was promise purpose and destiny ministry where she was one of the leaders.

Francine is survived by her mother Rosetta (Ernest) Tyson, her aunt JoAnn (Floyd) Schutte
Siblings– James Eugene Broughton, Sarah Krisshan (Otis) Buford, Tyisha (Johnathan) Armour-Curtis, Jacqueline Cannon and lovingly remembered by her children – Tramiere Broughton, Tashan Yarbrough, Tramisha (Justin) Yarbrough-Mitchell, Takia Yarbrough, Tyrone Long, Charlie (Mary) Hanson; grandchildren – Jordae Cropsey, Jamiere Broughton, Jamarea Yarbrough-Mitchell, Jahri Yarbrough-Mitchell, Naiauna Leach, JahSir Yarbrough-Mitchell and Easton Hanson; with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and special friends – Kelly Drake and Patricia Banks

Preceding Francine in death were her maternal grandmother – Pearlie Mae Clanton, brother Calvin Louis Weaver; sister – Lisa Renee Miller; niece – Shaniqua Lashae Broughton.

Memorials made can be directed to her children.

Francine often spoke these lovingly words to her children “We all We Got – I love you to Infinity X’s Infinity and Whatever Comes Next”.
