April 12,1924 - February 20, 2023


Arlene Langrehr, 98 passed away at the home of her daughter, Karen and was with her husband, Henry and family. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a private remembrance for the immediate family will be held at a later date. Arrangements were made by Lemke Funeral Homes.

Arlene was born In Clinton, Iowa to Karl and Amanda Ketelsen. She married her sweetheart, Henry Langrehr, on July 1, 1945 and they had 77 years together. They lived and raised their family in Clinton. Arlene, was devoted to her family and her children have many fond memories of holidays and vacations that she made special. Arlene enjoyed her many grandchildren and great grandchildren building lasting memories with them.

Proverbs 31:28-29 embodied Arlene.
“Her children rise up, and bless her, Her husband also, and he praises her, saying: Many daughters have done nobly. But you excel them all.” NASB

Arlene was a long standing member of the Evangelical Free Church of Clinton.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Langrehr of Clinton, Iowa. Two sons; Dennis Langrehr of Ankeny, Iowa, Dale Langrehr of Bartow, Florida. Two daughters; Karen Winters of Prophetstown, Illinois and Kay Schneider of Clinton, Iowa. One brother; Richard Ketelsen of Clinton, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers.
