Antoinette "Toni" Grage, 86, of Rock Island, Illinois (formerly of Camanche) passed away at Hope Creek Care Center on Sunday, April 15, 2018. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a funeral service taking place at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 19, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel (2610 Manufacturing Drive). A Visitation will occur one hour prior to the Funeral Service on Thursday from 11:00 am until the time of service at the Funeral Home. Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Toni was born July 1, 1931 in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the daughter of Gerald and Aleta (Woolery) Horton. Toni worked for many years as a Pharmacist Technician at Stokeld Pharmaceuticals, Davenport, Iowa.
Toni was a long-time member of the Jehovah Witness Congregation in both Clinton and DeWitt.
Toni, in her younger years, loved snow skiing and as an accomplished musician, playing in the orchestra - playing the Piano, Violin and French Horn. She enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends. Later in life, she enjoyed working in her yard and enjoyed taking long walks.
Toni is survived by two daughters – Karen (Mike) Neulist of St. Louis, Mo and Juli Grage of Minneapolis, MN and two sons – Lyle Grage of Oyster Creek, TX and Frank (Robbie) Grage of LeClaire, IA; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren – with 1 on the way; with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Preceding Toni in death were her parents; 1 sister, 1 daughter – Martha and 2 great-grandchildren.
