Annette Bokholdt Cremer, 95, of Fulton, Illinois passed away at Mercy Medical Center - North on Wednesday, August 10, 2016. Honoring her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded . A Memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel. A visitation will occur from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Annette was born August 16, 1920 in Fulton, Illinois, the daughter of Nicholas and Tina (Langland) Bokholdt. She was a 1938 graduate of Fulton High School.
Annette was a member of the Second Reform Church in Fulton, Illinois. Annette was a fulltime mother and later would work at Lou Marge's Clothing Store for 15+ years.
Annette was an early antique's collector and also restored antique's. She was an avid reader and loved taking care of the outdoor birds - watching different birds throughout the seasons. In general she just loved all animals, especially her loving cat - Luna. Above all, she loved her family very much and will be sadly missed.
Annette is survived by one daughter - Marcia "Sasha" Cremer of Fulton, IL; one son - Rick (Terry) Cremer of Aurora, IL; one granddaughter - Caitlin (Cal Clark) Cremer of Maplewood, NJ; with several nieces, nephews, and first cousin Betz Wyllie of AZ, as well as other cousins and special friends - Elizabeth H. Wells of Long Beach, CA and Barb Suehl-Janis and family of Fulton, IL.
Preceding Annette in death were her parents, one sister and three brothers.
In lieu flowers, memorials made can be directed to the Schmaling Memorial Public Library in Fulton, Illinois in Annette's name.
