Anna Mae Boyert, 90, of Camanche, Iowa, passed away at MercyOne Medical Center on Thursday, September 22, 2022. Funeral services occur at 6 pm on Tuesday, September 27, at Lemke Funeral Homes — South Chapel. A visitation occurs one hour prior from 5 pm until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial takes place at the National Cemetery in Rock Island, Illinois at 9:30 am on Wednesday, September 28. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.

Anna was born August 15, 1932 in Mt. Carroll, Illinois, the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Worden) Remrey. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Boyert on June 24, 1951 in Ayer, Massachusetts.

Anna was a 1951 graduate of Lyon’s High School. She was a long-time member of Chancy Lutheran Church.
Anna enjoyed listening to music. She loved following her favorite baseball team — the Chicago White Sox and her favorite football team — The Chicago Bears. Anna also enjoyed her word search books. Above all she loved her family very much and will be incredibly missed.

Anna is survived by one daughter — Debra (Joe) Weinschenk of Camanche; one son — Michael Boyert of Clinton; three grandchildren — Shawn, Kevin and Meaghann; with several nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends; as well as very special friends — Voda and Judy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband — Kenneth; 5 sisters; and 6 brothers.
