Alva loved to travel and visit his friends and pretty much anyone, he was a true people person who had a smile for everyone. He loved his Indian heritage, traveling to Pow Wows all over the United States, Canada and England. He loved all animals and cared for many. Above all he loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

Alva's accolades include: honored to be head dancer at many high profile Indian Pow Wows, collected many national awards for his bead work, he also won many ribbons for his skill at Teepee tent construction. Alva was also a member of the Koi fish club.
