Obituary for Alicia Christine Grinnall (Dunn)
Alicia Christine (Dunn) Grinnall, 44, of Clinton, Iowa passed away at MercyOne Hospital on Thursday, March 5, 2020. A funeral service occurs at 1 pm on, Friday March 20, at Lemke Funeral Homes – South Chapel. A visitation takes place 1 hour prior to the funeral service, from 12 pm to 1 pm. Following the funeral service, cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes assisted the family with arrangements.
Alicia was born on May 13, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Joseph and Peggy (Frame) Dunn. She was a graduate of Clinton High School.
Alicia worked for the Clinton School District and also ran an in-home daycare.
Alicia enjoyed coloring, going on vacations and she loved her daycare children. She always put everyone needs before her own. Alicia loved her family very much especially her grandchildren and nieces. Above all, she loved her sons and grandchildren very much and will be sadly missed.
Alicia is survived by her sons – Tyler (Tara Hottinger) Schutte of Galesburg, IL and Noah Schutte of Clinton, IA; her grandchildren – Drayson and Tayden Hottinger and Ella Schutte; her parents Peggy (Rick O’Leary) Dunn of Clinton and Joseph (Theresa) Dunn of Suntan Valley, AZ; one sister – Teresa Dunn of Clinton, IA; nieces – Serenity Huling, Mika Huling and Clara Dauen; other extended family and Tim Grinnall; step-daughters – Ciara and Sabrina Grinnall of Clinton, as well as, with many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
